This is a set I’ve been dreaming of shooting for years. Maybe 5-6 years ago I collected these old outer space books from a closing library, and bought the telescope— I dreamed of big open grassy fields, a summer evenings spent laying in the grass, and an insatiable fascination for the stars and the moon and all the little things we take for granted as adults amidst our busy lives.
I’m so glad I held onto all the little bits I had collected over the years, because turns out, Amy had been dreaming of shooting a similar concept as well (love when that happens). And she even saved this cardboard box for the longest time just in hopes of using it for an outer space inspired photoshoot someday. So we put our collection of trinkets and inspiration together and created this magic.
I hope when you look at these you get all the carefree, childlike, endless summer feels and remember all your youthful days spent laying in the grass staring up at the sky— feet dirty and grass stained, a never-ending dress up box and hand crafted toys, a heart of play, and a head filled with wild imagination.💫🌙
